Wanna Play?

How often have you been at the park with your “little” when they simply click with another “little.” You want to exchange information with the other parent for a follow up play date, but between all the sand toys and diapers, you can’t find a pen and paper! Well, these adorable calling cards are the answer. Perfect for Mom or Dad, these cards take up zero room in the diaper bag, purse or wallet, and take the fumbling out of exchanging contact information to ensure budding park friendships! Below are a couple of calling cards I've made for a few moms recently. I think they're a great gift for a new parent, or just anytime!

A Baptism

Rebekah contacted me and was in need of a very traditional and simple invitation for the baptism of her newest arrival. We discussed a general idea of what she wanted them to look like, but she left the specifics to me. I, of course, had more than a few ideas in mind, and sent Rebekah a few proofs to choose from. She selected the one below, which, I think, was an excellent choice!

Melissa is Moving!

It didn’t take long after the arrival of her precious little boy, Owen, for Melissa and her hubs to find the perfect house to call their own. Now Owen has a yard to play in - when he gets older, of course - and a nursery that I’m sure Melissa will have immaculately decorated in no time! A family’s first home is a special one. I’m sure you guys will make fantastic memories there!

And they lived happily ever after…

Will and Maika met overseas and like a fairytale, they instantly knew the other was the one for them. How exciting! They approached me about creating some modern and “not-too-traditional” wedding invitations, and it was so much fun to explore different graphics and colors for this unique couple. Of the options I presented them with, the one they selected was my favorite. I love it when that happens! Thanks for trusting me for such a special event in your lives. Congrats and much love to you both!

And here is the Wedding Shower Invitation that I created to coordinate with, but not match the Wedding Invitation. Can you guess the Bride's favorite color?

Stationery for Tots!

What a fantastic idea, right? When I started Coquette Paper, I envisioned the various events that I’d be asked to make invitations for, as well as custom stationery, calling cards, and well, anything a client could think of! What never crossed my mind, however, was custom stationery for little ones that didn’t even know how to write their own name yet. But I was asked to do a few sets as birthday gifts, and I think they’re a fabulous idea. They’d work great for thank you cards “from” the little girl or guy, or to personalize artwork from the tot. If you’ve got a little boy or girl in your life that is sans stationery, shoot me an email! We’ll remedy that right away!

Happy Birthday, Isabella!

I was contacted by Isabella's aunt to do a fun, modern and girlie invitation for her eighth birthday party to be held at an ice cream parlor. What a yummy idea! I hope your birthday is delicious, Isabella!

A baby shower for Melissa.

When making a baby shower invitation for a mom expecting a baby boy, but not expecting to trade her modern aesthetic for all things baby and frilly, my only question was whether or not the inclusion of this little rocking horse would be welcome. It was, as you can see below, and I think they turned out to be the perfect mix of modern to baby - just like Mom wanted!
Congratulations, Melissa! It was a pleasure.
